~Easter Pooka~ A beautiful and unusual altered art charm bracelet with a lovely quirky take on the Easter Bunny theme in the most pretty hues of pink and blue with Swarovski Crystals, lampwork glass beads, pearls and charms, designed and handcrafted by Sandy Bedford.
Inspired by the old Celtic mythology of the “Pooka” a mischievous fairy spirit who sometimes takes the guise of a large white rabbit, and the Easter Bunny the traditional Easter fable of the rabbit who delivers eggs and candy. The bracelet has been designed around the cutest altered art, vintage-style charm in baby pinks and blues on a silver tone base depicting an adorable white rabbit carrying a large pink Easter egg and a bunch of flowers, just beautiful. The focal charm is nestled between a cluster of stunning polymer clay flower charms in white with little pink centres, each with pretty white glass pearls and aquamarine Swarovski Crystals dropping from beneath. .
Hiding amongst the beautiful beads and charms are two fabulous little Easter Bunny charms with beautiful detailing in solid pewter, each holding a bunch of flowers and a little Easter basket.
Also on the bracelet are four more beautiful polymer clay flower charms, again in white with pink centres, stunning lampwork glass rondelle beads with pink raised flower detailing each accented with Swarovski Crystals and gorgeous silver tone decorated Easter Egg charms. There are also smaller and absolutely beautiful round lampwork glass beads with little pink flowers inside, each accented with Swarovski Crystals and Easter Egg charms dropping from beneath, there is also another solid pewter Easter basket charm, two more silver tone double Easter Egg charms as well as a selection of pretty little glass pearls in shades of pink and white mixed in with Swarovski Crystals.
The beads and charms have been carefully hand wire wrapped and attached to a sturdy silver plated curb chain which fastens with a beautiful antique silver plated flower toggle clasp.
The overall length of the bracelet measures approximately 7.5 inches.
This unique, one-off piece would make a lovely and unusual keepsake gift for Easter and will arrive beautifully packaged and gift boxed.
