~Grandma’s Attic~ Altered Art, Unique Handcrafted Vintage Charm Bracelet and Necklace in one brimming with a beautiful, eclectic mix of vintage beads and finds with contemporary beads, charms and trinkets. A one-off piece designed and handcrafted by Sandy Bedford.
The inspiration for my charm bracelet designs can spring from just one thing, be it a beautiful bead, a vintage trinket or charm and this piece is no exception. I have designed this bracelet/necklace around the captivating focal piece, a miniature vintage perfume bottle, so exquisite with its beautiful detailing and the delicate cross-stitched flower work depicted on the front, together with a quaint little stopper that actually unscrews to allow perfume to be stored within and its enchanting little glass dropper to apply the perfume, conjuring up visions of old-world charm and ladylike etiquette. The perfume bottle itself is glass and is held in a gold tone ornate metal casing which hangs from a little gold tone chain.
The bracelet is full of old-fashioned, eccentric appeal with fascinating little trinkets and beads including a vintage gold plated teapot trinket with flower detailing, a cute little vintage brass round locket with hinge to open, vintage faceted glass cabochon in antique gold tone setting, another vintage glass faceted stone in a lovely amber colour in a gold tone setting and vintage glass faceted beads again in amber tones.
Also to be found are beautiful little filigree metal beads in antique gold tones, faux glass pearls and Czech glass pearls with pretty antique gold bead caps, lampwork glass beads with antique gold bead caps, a pretty antique gold tone bow charm, ornate puffed heart charm again in antique gold, ornate gold plated saucer beads as well as a little heart charm studded with tiny glass beads and a cream round bead with large and very ornate antique gold bead caps.
The beads and charms have all been carefully hand-coiled and suspended from a good quality, sturdy antique gold tone chain, finished with a pretty antique style toggle clasp.
This unique piece comes complete with a converter chain with matching toggle clasp, giving you the option of wearing it as a charm necklace.
Some of the vintage beads and charms may show some sign of wear but this does not detract from their appeal or beauty and only adds to the charm and allure of this unique bracelet.
I do not mass-produce my charm bracelet designs, each one is individually handcrafted taking many hours to create, so you can be sure that when you purchase a piece of Sandy B Jewellery, it is one-of-a-kind.
